Zutaten
- 450 g Beef
- 2 tsp light soya sauce
- 2 tsp dry sherry
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp cornflower
- Salt and black pepper
- 100 g red or green peppers ( about 1 )
- 3 tbs vegetable oil
- 225 g trimmed mangetout
- 150 ml stock
- 3 tbs oyster sauce
Zubereitung
- Cut the Beef into thick slices 5 cm long. Put them into a bowl and add the soy sauce, sherry, sesame oil, cornflower, ½ tsp of salt and ¼ tsp of black pepper. Mix well with the Beef and marinade for 15 minutes.
- Cut the peppers into 5 cm stripes.
- Heat the frying pan until it is very hot, add the oil and when it is very hot stir fry the Beef for 3 minutes.
- Remove the Beef and drain , reserving the oil.
- Wipe the frying pan clean, then reheat it and return 1 tbs of the drained oil. When it is hot, stir fry the pepper stripes and mangetout for 2 minutes.
- Add the stock and oyster sauce and bring the mixture to the boil. Return the cooked Beef to the pan and stir well
